Skilfully free of the rut "new French song" Le Coq this with "d'Arradon", "his hard the densest and most concise. Rich with a wider musical spectrum, Le Coq ride takes us, moving his country-folk somewhere between American Race (Smog and Palace at the top) and learned music (fantasies Moondog, the Kronos Quartet or the clarity of Malian music are part of the landscape). On this album, the author was held at a songwriting picked up and pass him with ease in the dark simplicity of songs like "Pas d'apparat" (not far from Daniel Darc) to conquering mood and fun of a title as "King Kong", without denying the brightness galvanized rides such as "I know how the snow fall." Especially surrounded on this disc (see credits), Le Coq varies basic colors of his palette, adding that it requires strings, choirs and brass (arranged by Erwan Fauchard) at its soundscapes personal and demanding.
